Christ is Eternal Creativity

YEARNING

My yearning is met
by the yearning
of Eternal Creativity,
that is, the Christ.

This I know,
not by mind,
but by soul:

Christ sustains me,
encompasses me,
possesses me
and will not lose me,
even when myriad distractions
debauch my soul’s
contemplative simplicity.
